Services I provide two main types of body work. Relaxation body work focuses on calming your body and mind. Smooth, slow, flowing strokes are used. The whole body is explored. It relaxes you and restores your sense of balance. Pregnancy massage helps cope with changes to your body.
My other specialty is to help manage or eliminate certain types of pains/aches. Sports massage falls in this type of body work. It helps your muscles/fascia return to the best state they can be. It begins with a detailed intake, followed by postural/gait analysis. It may also require more active participation with you on the table. This is not a full body massage. Only specific parts are worked, depending on the issue(s).
Self care also plays a critical role in your recovery. The experience to restore you to your best may take more than one session, depending on various factors. However, in most cases will get some immediate relief.
